Hi there. I finished my John montage and so am posting a link for yousendit. Michelle, is there a chance for a permanent link? (Thanks if so) It's a bit big, about 27 MB. This was my first attempt at making a montage with vid. clips (before I always did picture stills) so I don't think it turned out badly at all. It's a bit corney, just to warn you, lol , and I tried to include quite a few details, plays on words and to match what was happening in the vids with the words of the song. Anyway, enjoy. We do love John, no doubt about that one. It's pretty incredible that Judy Garland was only 15 when she sang that eh? I wonder how John feels having all these 'strangers' loving him? It must be a strange feeling !!

SueAnny1, thanks. I'm glad I helped start your day off well, and that I perhaps expressed what others were feeling too. He's just so sweet, and we can't helping loving him. It took me along time, about 10-12 hours or so, so I've seen this a few hundred times, lol. I'm not tired of it though, even after all those times. I think I hear it in my sleep, lol!

An especial thanks to Michelle & others who shared the more recent videos. Without them, I certainly wouldn't have been able to do it very well, at least with that song.

I have 3 or 4 of Ryan that other fans made, unfortunately, no one seems to care much anymore

Are there any other montages of John out there? I don't remember seeing any others. It sounds like another one is coming up though. I was wanting to do one with stills, with a Frank Sinatra song. I have about 5 CD's of his, but can't find the song that is quite right. Any ideas?

Michelle, do you have the Windows Movie Maker program? I find it helps with editing vids as well as making montages. If you want me to walk you through the montage making thing I can. Just let me know. It's easier to start out with Stills/pictures. Also, the first thing to do is make sure you have a more up-to-date version. I had the one that came with my computer, but it was not user friendly AT ALL. Perhaps that is why it is harder for you too, ya never know.

I have Windows Movie Maker and my computer is only a year old. I have a Media computer so I have up to date everything. I guess I should have said "I dont have the time or the patience to make montages" It's all I can do to edit out commercials and stuff on video I get lol

EEEee, I KNOW! If you didn't fall in love with him before, you would after seeing that!

Michelle, I totally understand. They are very time consuming, and it's not for everyone that's for sure. You might find that program comes in handy though if you ever have to edit .avi or .wav files. I've found it quite useful that way as well.

Movie Maker is what I do all my video caps and edits on.

^^ Oh great!! My version says 2.1 but then says something about 5.1, so I dunno which version, lol. If someone knows about that, please pass on your wisdom!
