Seeing those figures from Queen made me think that we should all promise to buy at least one RED album for someone at X-MAS time. If we all do that, it could help boost sales. I been talking about raising sales for the holidays for awhile now. Lets sign on and promise to do it! Bring the gift of "RED" home to someone that you might think will enjoy it. (cheezy but hey, why not!) I will go first:

1. I sueanny, aka Xuan aka Sue, will buy at least one "RED" album this X-MAS for someone.

I was at Target the yesterday trying to buy to copies of RED and they didn't have it anymore. I know they are at Walmart, I will be there today. They will also be X-MAS gifts. I am glad people are buying RED for X-MAS. It is a great cd no matter what people say.

One Question- now that he isnt with Maverick anymore, does the cd sales still give him money or mean anything?

Yes, both John and Maverick will continue to receive money from the Red album, even if he moves on to another label and cuts a new album. We need to continue buying the album and creating a demand for his music.

It never hurts to think of future sales. What do you think of enclosing a card inside the Red CDs that you give as Xmas gifts that say "If you enjoyed this CD please buy one for that special someone on Valentines day".

^ thats not a bad idea. I also think it's cool that John still gets money for the CD's.

I got my 2 copies of RED at Walmart tonight! There was 4 copies of RED there and tons of Bo's new cd. Of course I got Bo's cd too. RED is all set to hit Houston.

So if you can't think of a gift for someone, I would put RED on that shopping list.

Thanks for the info Sypmhpony. i wasnt gonna buy it of it only helped Maverick and not our Johnny. but now im getting it for a friend who borrowed my cd and liked it.
