He said the boards will be up for some months more by Maverick, but when they take them down what will we do?

i mean as a group of us like posting together and talking and stuff..when they take the board away, man I'm gonna miss it!! i mean seriously, we fight a lot but then it usually turns out fine.

and the AI3 section at IDF is just general now so he doesnt have his own section.

I kinda wanna make another one so we have a place to move to and so John and give us messages there if he wants.

Carrie I guess we will have to head back to idolforums, or someone can create a new site for John. I will check into that. We don't want to lose track of everyone. I know it's been rough but I feel better now knowing everything. I have enjoyed talking to everyone on here. Boy am I going to miss John. *tears* I am sure we will come up with something.

For the person who mentioned IDF, John does still have a board. It is under the Contestant archive section.

I got the distinct impression that John wanted to part from Maverick, due to college or other reasons. I don't get the sense that he was dropped. Today must have been the day everything became "official" and the lawyers said he could say something.

I also got the impression John intends to record while in college and continue to do live shows. I could certainly see a small jazz label picking him up.

why was john let go from maverick? he should work with David Foster. he should be on warner bros.label.just like renee olstead

He would be so much better off that way. Im just baffled over the way Maverick handled him. It boggles my mind that they did not put him on a tour or at least open for another artist No point in staying with a label that barely treats you like you exist.

I don't think John will ever stop singing But I think he is not going to be performing for a while. He is getting ready to start college in January. Re-read his message to us and see what you get from it. I get that he will be out in public again but probably not until he is more settled in to a school routine. Now what he really intends to do is anybody's guess

Maria, to me it sounds like he will be entertaining us all again some time in the future but not under the Maverick label.
